Aluminium Shoemaking and welding day-SWEDEN

Description

The two days are structured by Brad but totally flexible and will give you the opportunity to practice and improve these specialised shoemaking skills. This course will be specifically focused on using aluminium and learning the "dark art" of aluminium welding (ali).

The day will begin with a relaxed and informative presentation on everything you need to know and understand on the subject. 

Brad Greenham FWCF is a highly skilled tutor specialising in Ali, some might say he has an addiction to it!

He will share with you his techniques through demonstration followed with a hands on opportunity for you to practice under his tutelage. Not only will he show you how to create these incredibly impressive shoes but how to get out of trouble when you inevitably make a mistake!

Points to be covered but not limited to will be:

Extremely small number of attendees so the day can be personalised to the individual and their needs.

This day is hands on so please bring your shoemaking tools, safety boots and glasses. Welding gloves are also advised but not essential, an angle grinder and marker pen are also handy.

Refreshments, flux, welding rods and aluminium provided throughout the day
